ArtOnTime, a “timeless” showcase of talent taking place in Venice

ArtOnTime, a “timeless” showcase of talent taking place in Venice

In this age of crowdfunding, grassroot marketing and bottom-up participation, art has a lot of exciting new ways to get out there and make its statement. And when art is backed up by an important, intelligent brand like Eberhard & Co., the results can’t be anything but remarkable. This is what ArtOnTime is all about.

This exhibition project, launched last March during the Mia Photo Fair to gather funds for the performances of 4 renowned artists focusing their work on the relationship between performance art and time, is now ready to go live. Tomorrow, inside the prestigious Palazzo Trevisan degli Ulivi – a 15th century noble palace, now seat of the Swiss Consulate in Venice and of the Swiss Art Council Pro Helvetia – the performances of artists Julia Krahn, Luigi Presicce, Giordano Rush and Invernomuto (funded through the crowdfunding portal Artraising.org) will take place in front of a selected audience of patrons and sponsors.

Krahn’s performance will reflect on the concept of time as a symbol of separation and oblivion, while Rush will explore its relentless step through beat music. Luigi Presicce will investigate the bond existing between time and history and Invernomuto will showcase an authentic meltin’pot of cultural suggestions. The next step of the project will then take place on December 2nd at the The MAXXI (Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo) Museum in Rome during the Romaeuropa Festival. On that occasion, Eberhard & Co. will assign the Eberhard & Co. Award for Performing Art to the best act. More info on www.artraising.com
