Pink is the new (Valentino) Red

Punk meets Hieronymus Bosch at Valentino SS 2017

During the last Paris Fashion Week, Pierpaolo Piccioli presented his first solo collection as creative director of Valentino: 64 looks showing elegant pieces in shades of pink ranged in color from blush to bright fuchsia, some incorporating signature Valentino red. The Summer 2017 collection, described as “punk meets Hieronymus Bosch”, featured ethereal and gentle long dresses accessorized with a cross-body bag, some as small as cigarette cases, others proper-sized shoulder bags.
