IEG Italian Exhibition Group is increasing Vicenzaoro’s exhibition offerings with VO Vintage, a new project for col- lectors with one-of-a-kind and rare pieces – some of the most sought after in the period watch and jewelry industry. The new exhibition is dedicated to all things vintage and will be located on the first floor of the foyer in the fair district, in an exclusive, reserved context, hosting thirty top Italian and international players, specialized in antique jewelry and watches. A new marketplace in which enthusiasts and collectors can admire one-of-a-kind pieces and speak directly to the vendors. «With this new VO Vintage project, we want to go against the tide,» said Patrizia Cecchi, IEG Italian Exhibition Group Fiere Italia Director. «In terms of what we see being offered on the vintage market today, we wanted to offer a new model and an innovative way of presenting a market fueled by uniqueness and rareness. A world of people and relationships that, at Vicenzaoro, we plan to further strengthen, creating a true community. So leveraging on this guarantee of veracity and authority that has always distinguished Vicenzaoro,» she concludes. There is a full schedule of meetings and live shows, with some of the most globally treasured expert connoisseurs, planned alongside this new exhibition format. From Verga Vintage’s master watchmakers, to the meeting with Sandro Fratini, the biggest watch collector in the world, to the presence of the “Lord of the Watches” Giulio Papi, VO Vintage will also be complemented by the collaboration with industry institutions, including Assorologi president and Eberhard Italia Ceo Mario Peserico, and the prestigious AHCI, Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants. «VO Vintage is very strategic for us,» explains Marco Carniello, Jewelry and Fashion Division Director at IEG. «The difference between our format and other exhibi- tions on the market is the selection – much more meticulous than the market average – which is sustained by a full event schedule in terms of relevant content and for beginning new partnerships with the main Italian digital platforms specializing in watches,» says Carniello.
