Sirivannavari, the princess’ jewelry from Thailand to Milan
The Sirivannavari SS 2016 collection will be on display at the Rinascente until June 14th

Jewelry and blue blood: a match made in heaven. Throughout history, princesses have always been depicted or photographed wearing astonishing jewels. But what happens when a princess is also the designer of the jewels she’s wearing? To know the answer, it’ll suffice to go to the 4th floor of the Rinascente, in Milan, where a pop-up store will showcase the jewelry designed by a real princess until June 14th.

The princess we’re talking about is Sirivannavari, the 29-year-old princess of Thailand. She’s the founder of the brand by the same name, established in 2005 and widely renowned in Thailand for dresses and jewelry characterized by peculiar designs and contemporary shapes. In Milan, the princess will introduce the new Spring/Summer 2016 collection, inspired by the glorious artistic period spanning from Romanticism to Impressionism: an exciting journey that will lead us through the majestic interiors of Versailles all the way to the modern feel of today’s acrylic colors. The new collection is made of 48 looks that evoke marvellous shapes and intriguing concepts like the peplum dress, the deconstructed jacket and the tunic dress.
