Gold Italy, the international trade fair dedicated to Italian jewelry, is back with its sixth edition on 20-22 October in Arezzo
The fall appointment this year will be enhanced by a valuable innovation that is very much in line with the needs of the participants. It is an online platform that has been live since 3 October that allows companies to begin communicating with buyers even before the event. It’s an excellent way for users to maximize their time, exchange preliminary information and anticipate what will be discussed and finalized in meetings at the trade fair. Alessandro Bruni – Head of Sales at Unoaerre – explains: «This year’s new platform, set up to help suppliers and clients connect and align their schedules, could be an interesting tool in terms of the future as well. The market is changing quickly and as a result, trade-fair formats need to follow suit. As we have the home-team advantage, we need to be able to answer the expectations of the market. Our product-development process is never-ending and we are ready with new items to satisfy the needs of various markets at any time.» The strongly innovative offerings for exhibitors are of course paired with the solid tradition of the Arezzo-based event, which naturally confirms itself as a respected and anticipated event for the entire sector. Fabrizio Falcinelli from Gold Art confirms: «Even though it is a smaller fair, Gold Italy sets itself apart, thanks to a concentration of very strong jewelry and artisanal companies. It is also thanks to the painstaking care of the event and the meticulous work of Beppe Angiolini, art director and honorary president of the Camera Italiana Buyer Moda.» Highlights of the event: buyers from 30 countries, 100% Made in Italy brand, a new digital format and 3 exhibition areas. As with the previous editions, the first is the largest and is dedicated to goldsmiths, silversmiths and jewelers; the second in terms of size is the Cash and Carry area; and the last is dedicated to Fashion and Bijoux Jewelry and Jewelry/Tech. According to Bruni and Falcinelli the strong points of this event are the high-quality offerings concentrated in just a few days, the strategic position of the city, which is easily accessible to Italian buyers, and the art and culture of Arezzo, which warmly welcomes all of the trade fair’s guests.
