«Fashion alone is not enough,» says Alex Eagle, Creative Director and founder of the store of the same name on Lexington Street.«The way in which we shop has changed. I wanted to recreate exactly a gallery that is also a bit home and a bit shop, to reflecta way of living: books, art, design, accessories,jewels, fashion and music. Alex Eagle brought new positive energy to the European retail scene. It is a creative and research hub, a contemporary 'cabinet decuriosités', a private label with highly sophisticated brands. And between a mirror by Ettore Sottsass and a Courrèges jacket,there are discreetly placed jewels by All Blues, Fernando Jorge, Completedworks and Sophie Buhai.
