Two Awards for Pomellato

Town & Country debuts with its first Jewelry Awards, in partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue, recognizing the talent of the Italian brand Pomellato

Last night at the Town & Country’s first Jewelry Awards on Thursday, March 15th 2018, two awards went to the Italian Maison Pomellato. Pomellato’s CEO Sabina Belli received the Jewelry Legends of the Year Award as one of the few women leading a major jewelry brand. She has maintained Pomellato’s artisanal tradition while expanding and overseeing a stellar 50th-anniversary collection of one-of-a-kind rings. Sabina Belli launched PomellatoForWomen in Spring 2017 for the brand’s 50th Anniversary, to celebrate women who demonstrate characteristics of contemporary female beauty, strength, creativity and resilience. Pomellato was also the winner of the Saks Luminary Award as the innovative brand who moved the industry forward, lighting the way for the entire industry. Marc Metrick, President of Saks Fifth Avenue presented this award to Sabina Belli on behalf of Pomellato.

The awards, in partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue, want to celebrate the masters, mavericks, and visionaries influencing the jewelry industry. Town & Country enlisted a number of notable jewelry editors, retailers and collectors to determine the winners in the various categories.
