Making jewelry with colored beads is an ancient custom rooted in Africa that has made the traditional objects of ethnic groups like the Masai famous and sought after today. Jewelry has taken inspiration from this art to give life to elaborate and original items in which small pearls are replaced with garnets, sapphires, emeralds, diamonds and rubies in tiny sizes.
