Monte Carlo Gems, the Jewelry World’s Latest New Entry

July will mark the debut of a B2C event dedicated to contemporary and vintage haute horlogerie and jewelry


The European and international jewelry agenda has been further enriched by a new event in a location that already evokes the idea of luxury and exclusivity. Monte Carlo Gems will be the B2C high jewelry exhibition to be held in the Principality of Monaco from 18th to 22nd July in the splendid setting of one of its most iconic hotels, the Fairmont Monte Carlo. Located on the famous Fairmont Hairpin bend, the hotel is one of the main landmarks on the F1 circuit, which, for the 2024 edition, will take place between 23rd and 26th May. The allure that will appeal to insiders and enthusiasts alike will be that unique and utterly transversal mix created by the best vintage and modern pieces of high-end jewelry and watchmaking displayed alongside one-of-a-kind creations by emerging designers, in a range that will include tastes, styles and eras. A further advantage of Monte Carlo Gems will be its totally effective role as a BtoC exhibition in a season that is already full of attractions during the period of Monaco Auction Weeks. The time and place will therefore be perfect to connect and network with potential customers within the refined jet set community that has always gravitated around the Principality.

An exclusive private preview with access restricted to media, exhibitor guests and VIPs invited by the organizers will be held on 18th July, the first day of the show. Another highlight will be the Opening Gala cocktail at the Galerie Cristal, while from 19th to 22nd July, the exhibition will be open to the public, offering not only a sumptuous spectacle for the eyes but also an in-depth program of seminars and interviews with various haute joaillerie and horlogerie specialists. Conceived by the MCG marketing team, the Monte Carlo Experience Program will allow brands and customers to socialize during cocktails, private meetings and dinners in privileged locations to enjoy a fully immersive experience of Monte Carlo city life.

An event that will follow the recurring theme of a decidedly assertive claim, “All lights On Us!”, paying homage to Monte Carlo as the set for films that have made cinema history, such as “007 Never Say Never Again” and “Monte Carlo Grand Casino”, and that aims to start a potential new “club” of connoisseurs who will be able to meet from one year to the next in the certainty of finding all the sector’s latest new entries and a selection of vintage collector items. As in all up-to-date events, sustainability will also be in the fore: Monte Carlo Gems sustains environmental preservation by supporting the Monte Carlo Live Together Association.
