A range of inspirations, a single identity, immediately recognizable due to being faithful to contemporary refinement, designed to define and beat the rhythm of our everyday life. uncommon matters - um, for the brand's friends - promotes the idea of jewelry that we could describe as “colloquial” since it favors a dynamic design, nurtured by an enormous wealth of content. In Berlin since 2009, founder and designer, Amélie Riech, loves to experiment, to combine different worlds naturally and grasp the extraordinariness of what normally goes unnoticed. Everyday objects and seemingly mundane details are interpreted and redesigned to create jewelry with shapes as familiar as they are original. The aesthetic of the season's new drops is the proof, punctuated by soft geometries, unexpected contrasts and touches of color that interrupt rigor with fantasy. Always with an impeccable balance between measure and momentum. Classic forms are reinterpreted with an innovative twist in the Pavé collection expressed through flowing curves, textured materials, and reflective surfaces. Micro pavés of black and white stones, set with punctuality, enhance the architectural side. Warm gold, highly polished silver, and black rhodium intensify a game of shadow and light to emphasize the sculptural character. Bloom, on the other hand, celebrates a style that is as playful as it is poetic: an original tribute to “blossoming” meant as a metaphor for an always firmly and deeply-rooted personal growth. Here metal is combined with intense semi-precious stones such as red garnet, green or pink amazonite, malachite, lapis lazuli and tiger's eye, cross-contaminated with glossy enamels and delicate colors. The shapes draw inspiration from botany, reproducing the outlines of delicate buds and slender shoots. Lastly, New Facets offers a series of new sculptural shapes marked by clear cuts and pronounced angles. The color arrives as if transported on warm Italian summer air through two-tone Urushi lacquer. The light is that of metallic finishes, enhancing the mesmerizing profiles of rings, earrings and necklaces.
