What one perceives instantly, observing one of their creations, is the lively and bold character, steeped in history to be told through the artisan mastery of the maison. It is always a fascinating and exclusive journey in which Van Cleef & Arpels accompany us, this time with an exceptional gem, the ruby, showing us its various chromatic shades thanks to the technique of the 'Serti Mystérieux', a stylistic trait of the maison since the 30s. There are the flora and fauna, which have always been the main sources of inspiration, with the Feuille de Rubis ring, an enchanting foliage of rubies and diamonds with a strong oriental imprint. Tireless in the search for precious gems, Van Cleef & Arpels also approach Indian culture, from which Berunda bracelet was born, a jewel "in the clouds", as it represents the Berunda, a two-headed bird belonging to Indian mythology. And yet there is great astonishment in front of the Elsa series, which summarizes the most sublime jewelry art with high fashion, in honor of the founder of the Maison Schiaparelli, Elsa. Then the clip Pivoine, created in 1937, considered one of the most representative objects of the maison, always current and full of elegance.
