CNC turning is a subtractive manufacturing process, programmed and managed through computerized numerical control (CNC). By means of CNC work centers, customized for precious metal processing, numerous geometrical shapes can be milled and cut with a superior degree of finish, 5-axis laser processing can be used for complex geometrical shapes and all specific thicknesses for gold and jewelry can be cut, engraved and diamond-coated. Moreover, CNC-cut and laser-cut objects can be characterized with exclusive elements by means of customized CNC diamonds produced in-house. Lastly, Orchidea Preziosi develops on-demand designs via vector files or hand-crafted designs and, thanks to its product design process, can engineer the customer's ideas by graphic modelling the jewelry in 3D.
