An extremely interesting expo, not only due to its new dimensions with an area for fine jewelry and an extended technology section, but also its exhibition content: JGTD – Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai, in Halls 1 and 2, south of the Dubai Exhibition Center at Expo City, offers a showcase of the sector’s main product categories – jewelry, diamonds and precious stones, packaging, jewelry technologies and lab-grown diamonds – presented by over 350 exhibitors from about 30 countries and regions, including, for the first time, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Jordan, while eight national and regional halls will represent China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey and the United States.
The event is organized through a partnership between Italian Exhibition Group and Informa Markets, with the collaboration of official partner, the DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre), and industry partner, the Dubai Jewellery Group (DJG).
Marco Carniello, Chief Business Officer for IEG, says, «We are proud to present an even more dynamic and diverse B2B sourcing experience, bringing a world of opportunities to the Dubai stand. We are investing here because of the visionary approach to development, infrastructure and services that are strengthening its role as a global trading hub for valuable goods, establishing the city as a gateway to the Middle East, Africa, West Asia and beyond.»
Celine Lau, Director of Jewelry Fairs at Informa Markets, also highlights the importance of Dubai. The show allows companies to «prepare for the upcoming holiday rush while securing contacts for 2026. Finding the right products, anticipating demand and meeting quality suppliers at this point in the purchasing calendar helps companies organize themselves for the future.»
Reflecting on the extraordinary global participation, DJG President, Tawhid Abdulla, explains that «JGTD continues to set futuristic expectations and benchmarks for the region’s jewelry industry. It brings together innovation, craftsmanship and international collaboration, crucial elements for the sector’s evolution.»
