Grace Kelly first wore it in 1966. Today, Flora returns as a central motif of Gucci High Jewelry.Born from the iconic scarf illustrated by Vittorio Accornero as a gift for the Princess of Monaco, Flora has become one of the Maison’s most recognizable symbols. Sixty years later, Gucci reinterprets the design through rare gemstones, titanium and highly complex craftsmanship. Among the collection’s most striking creations are the poppies, where rubies and rubellite tourmalines bring depth to the petals. Titanium shapes overlapping layers, lightened by the au jour technique, allowing light to pass through the structure and enhance the gemstones’ colors. The lily, a symbol of Florence, defines the Lily line. Blue sapphires, diamonds and titanium create three-dimensional petals with shades ranging from deep blue to lighter tones. It is one of the most intricate techniques featured in the collection. More delicate is Orchid, a parure crafted in white gold, diamonds and Madagascar pink sapphires, completed by a brooch featuring a central yellow diamond. Peony focuses on essential forms, highlighted by the refined combination of diamonds and white gold. Flora is only one chapter of the collection. Nodo draws inspiration from the nautical world, transforming the rope motif into a jewel design enriched with Santa Maria aquamarines, Paraíba tourmalines, Colombian emeralds and diamonds, evoking the movement of water. Everlasting G reinterprets the Maison’s initial through a geometric pattern illuminated by diamonds, green tourmalines and red spinels. The collection concludes with Iconic Signatures, bringing Gucci’s Horsebit and Marina Chain codes into High Jewelry through tsavorites, tanzanites, golden beryls and yellow sapphires. With this collection, Gucci revisits some of the Maison’s most iconic codes through a contemporary vision of High Jewelry.
