Now in its second year under the direction of Nicky Dessources, Salon Art + Design—produced by Sanford L. Smith + Associates—returns November 7–11 to the Park Avenue Armory in New York City. The exclusive press preview is scheduled for Thursday, November 6, at 3 p.m., ahead of the public opening of the 14th edition of the fair. Over fifty international galleries, including Galerie Chastel-Maréchal, Bernard Goldberg Fine Art, Gallery FUMI, and Wexler Gallery, outline a map that ranges from French modernism to contemporary Japanese design. Jewelry returns to the spotlight: Cora Sheibani, DYNE, and Fernando Jorge bring the concept of wearable art to the center of the aesthetic discourse. Supporting this vision is a committee that blends trends and institutions—Linda Fargo, Pierre Yovanovitch, Jen Rubio, and Beth Rudin deWoody—confirming that, today, collecting is a cultural act and design is a form of thought. Now in its second year under the direction of Nicky Dessources, Salon Art + Design—produced by Sanford L.
