The rigid star-shaped maxi choker, spotted on Burberry's Fall/Winter 2020 catwalk, suggests that experimentation, in the world of contemporary jewelry, can assume different aspects, from the use of unusual materials to that of simple but innovative shapes. And the aesthetic research of original profiles characterizes some of the most interesting creations of the moment. Inspired by geometry, which retains strong symbolic meanings in its figures, such as stability, belonging, harmony, the new jewels stand out for their essential but "complicated" design, capable of giving three-dimensionality.
