Having moved to Australia from New Zealand at an adult age, Julia deVille founded her brand Disce Mori, which features jewellery that connects with the animal world by combining gems and precious and semi-precious metals with materials that were once 'alive', such as wood, hair and stuffed animals to challenge our perception of preciousness.
