Gucci Le Marché des Merveilles: where the wild things are

The new timepieces by the Italian maison bring together a colorful and original “animal kingdom”.
One of the freshest, most stylish takes on the animalier style is the one provided by Gucci Timepieces & Jewelery for its new watches collection: Le Marché des Merveilles. The new range created by the sought-after Italian fashion powerhouse offers a rich scheme of materials, mirroring the innovative visual of the brand today, as well as promoting the craftsmanship of this continuously developing watch range. Reworking and expanding its animalier concepts - the snake, the tiger and the bee – Gucci created beautiful timepieces defined by charming embroidery or finely-cut tinted natural leather. A strong element of distinction is the nylon dial: super-hip and current yet elegant and refined. Two wrist watches in this array feature a soft brown Toscano calfskin strap; 3 others have a sportier appearance and also are fitted with a nylon band including the striped Gucci web. The snake is also framed on an unique natural leather variant, crafted from a solitary item of leather utilized for both the band as well as the dial. Each timepiece from Le Marché des Merveilles collection boasts a 38mm size and is engraved with the bee design on the back.
