Italimpianti Orafi designs and builds equipment to process precious and non-ferrous metals. An overview of the wide range of our products starts with gold and silver refining systems, both chemical and electrolytic in nature with capacities from 1-2 kg to over 1000 kg per day. We also produce platinum, palladium, rhodium and copper refining machinery. In addition we offer machinery to assay precious metals and ash, as well as to treat fumes and waste solutions. The company has also developed machinery to treat E-Waste and Industrial-Waste. We also supply equipment for the production of salts such as rhodium sulfate, silver nitrate, gold cyanide, palladium salts, etc.
The main types of melting equipment we produce are: 
Traditional mechanical and hydraulic melting plants from 5 to 1,000 kW
Continuous casting furnaces from 8 to 40 kW
Casting furnaces from 3 to 10 kW
Vacuum melting furnaces from 10 to 100 kW
Ingot production system from 8 to 400 ingots/hour
Production systems with a protective atmosphere for producing precious and non precious metal alloys
Rotary and static gas melting furnaces for precious ashes
Gas atomizers for the production of powders to be used in 3D manufacturing and water atomizers 

We also design equipment for the goldsmith industry: 
Belt furnaces for annealing and welding chains
De-oxidation furnaces
Static hollowing plants with rotating carousel
Continuous wire and strip annealing furnaces
Plants for gold, silver and rhodium plating
Hardening alloy furnaces

Furthermore, the company has a highly trained technical team to design and produce turnkey plants for precious metals refining, for production of molten and/or minted ingots, and for treatment of E-waste
