Appointment in Vicenza

With 1300 exhibitors from 34 countries, Vicenzaoro opens the international trade fair year by sealing its leading role. Matteo Farsura, Global Exhibition Manager Jewelery & Fashion at IEG, talks to us about it

To quickly sum up, we can say that Vicenzaoro is an event in continuous progression, perceptible in the constantly evolving projects, numbers, and spaces.

This January edition is the second of the four in the so-called transition period that will take us towards the September 2026 goal of inaugurating a hall capable of accommodating new exhibitors, services, and technologies worthy of Europe’s most important event.

We are extremely pleased with how the market is responding to this temporary phase and a layout that meets everyone’s business needs, while maintaining a vast variety of products thanks to 1,300 companies from 34 countries (numbers include TGold, ed.).

It is also appreciable how the projects that we have promoted are showing signs of considerable usefulness: one prime example is the Glamroom area, where companies not yet on the market can test their products with sector experts and evaluate the path to take with IEG.

We also have numerous requests for the Creation community and T.Gold, where we have a waiting list of over 50 companies. One of the feathers in our cap is being able to help a brand to grow and bringing new ones onto the scene within the large Vicenzaoro communities.

Moreover, the schedule of events and seminars is becoming increasingly stronger thanks to close cooperation with Italian and international associations that see and envisage our Boutique Show as the best place to bring new content. From the point of view of exhibitors and visitors, it should be highlighted how the many interventions made to improve reception services and the general look&feel are also paying off.

But the IEG team never stops: the renovation work schedule is perfectly on track, which gives us even more impetus for a 2025 that promises to be extremely dynamic: OroarezzoSije in SingaporeJGTD in Dubai, the Valenza forum, the Arezzo summit, and, in September, the long-awaited debut of The Vicenza Symposium.

Challenges call, and we respond.
