His experience spans from General Mills, Coca-Cola, McDonalds, and EA Games, to Signet, Rio Tinto, Forevermark, and 100’s of leading jewelry retailers, designers and brands around the world. Team TSG is based in New York City and packs a powerful team of expert creatives, media strategists, and content creators that have helped to reshape the digital face of the jewelry industry. At its helm, Smithee and TSG’s VP of Operations, Alexandra Brown, have assembled a vibrant team of expert digital natives passionate about seeing the jewelry industry grow and advance into the next era of generational success. Prior to launching TSG, Ben helped co-found two startups in the marketing and advertising industry, starting his first at the age of 23. Today, Ben sits on the Board of Trustees for Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, International Board of Directors for the Women’s Jewelry Association, Board of Advisors for Gem Legacy, and Advisory Board for the newly formed Black in Jewelry Coalition. Most recently, TSG teamed up with Punchmark Websites and Clientbook to create The Couch Conference which garnered mass appeal to the jewelry industry trying to navigate the challenges faced through Covid-19.
