Silver lover's paradise

Silver lover's paradise

The Boutique Bernasconi, a silver lover's paradise, stands tall in the Milan fashion square.

[su_highlight background="#042653" color="#ffffff"]RETAIL[/su_highlight] In 1872, Ginevra Bernasconi decided to follow her passion for silverware by opening a silversmith studio in via Speronari in Milan where she could produce things according to her own tastes. The high quality manufacture of the skilful artisans selected to work the silver quickly led the Bernasconi 1872 brand to fame, so much so that the Prince of Savoy commissioned them to create his effigy. Over the years, Bernasconi 1872 silverware has changed locations several times, going through Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Corso Magenta until it finally docked in via Manzoni 44 where it can still be found today, under the management of Claudio, Maurizio and Alessandro Bernasconi, the founder's great-grandsons. Crossing the threshold of the store, which develops over two floors, is almost like stepping back in time amid silver items of every shape and age: vases, goblets, glasses, candelabras, the Bernasconi 1872 jeweller's is the luxury version of an antiques market and here you can find what you are looking for. The imposing entrance, the wooden-panelled walls, the marble and large, gold-framed windows, bring us back to the present with their essential elegance.
