A unique lilac diamond in an inedit ring

The incredible and majestic diamond LILAC TI22 is presented for the first time at the exhibition Antipode. Paola Brussino and Maria Bruno. The exhibition, organised by Ugo Bruno, takes place at the Querini Stampalia Foundation from 9th to 13th May 2017, on the occasion of the 57th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennial 2017. The work is born out of the collaboration with Scarselli, a giant of the rarest natural coloured diamonds - worn by Julia Roberts, Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey - known for the uniqueness and prestige of collections that are now considered classic and have been exhibited at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Paola Brussino, an artist and designer based in Turin, experiments with using new and less noble materials in fine jewellery, animated by the intention to change the emotional and conceptual landscape of the stones to rediscover the natural elegance. LILAC TI 22 is a titanium weaves ring - TI 22 in the periodic table of the elements - and a lilac diamond: a precious stone, unique in the world for purity and colour, the rarest of diamonds. The jewel has an estimated value of 2 million euros.
