Italian Design

Founded in 2011, Italian Design uses innovative designs and precious materials to express intimate stories that are often whimsy and fun. Some pieces can be worn several ways. The top of the Snow White Red Apple Ring opens to reveal Snow White. The ring can then be converted to a necklace.

What is your inspiration?

“We take inspiration from nature, like sea creatures, volcanoes, flowers, we also take inspiration from history, architecture and mythology. There are stories that we are fascinated by that we like to tell with our jewels. We always want to pass some message to the wearer.”

Who are your customers?

“People who understand a different kind of jewellery, little productions, limited editions or one-of-a-kind. They understand that real luxury is not made in big numbers, but is represented by customised products.”

Why do you use stories in your jewellery?

“When we create a jewel there is always a reason. Furthermore, the client will choose the jewel not only because she likes it, but because of the story of the jewel. She will wear the story that is close to her personal life.”
