A clear and decisive contrast, with a natural rounded forms, the power of a light emerging from darkness. Not a cameo or even a classic floral interpretation for the Antea collection by Licia Mattioli, where the minimalism of the forms, the striking textures and the perfectly proportioned inlays capture the gaze: evoking the etymology of the name of this new line, drawn from ancient Greek Antheios, ‘floral’.

Agate corollas flutter harmoniously, petal by petal, against a background of midnight black onyx. Perhaps the same atmosphere enveloped the planet Antea, a satellite of Saturn: impossible to say. Certainly, the journey between heaven and earth continued, taking inspiration from the flowers of the desert and presenting them here in an optical version on precious materials: white or pink gold and diamonds for pinky rings, colliers and earrings, celebrating botanical beauty with sculpted floral designs that continue on the back of the earring in stylized strokes. A homage to the dialogue of opposites in black&white that, with all the charm of Antea, is an icon of elegance and timeless wearability.
