The gold cape by Boucheron
The uniqueness of the new Boucheron gold cape presented during Paris Haute Couture Week.
The Haute Couture running this week in Paris is the chance to ‘meet’ amazing creations realized by jewelry brands. It is the case of Boucheron, which just introduced a new precious piece crafted entirely by hand.
It is a cape of gold ‘made mostly of fine, twisted chains to resemble grosgrain, dictates the form’, as revealed by the creative director Claire Choisne, it took Choisne and her coterie of master craftsmen and women 70 hours to sketch out the pattern on a Stockman dummy and over 1,000 hours to complete. Something so unique to became a masterpiece.
