VICENZAORO September 2017 is all about green jewelry

The sustainability of the jewelry chain and the corporate responsibility in the luxury industry will be the main focus of VICENZAORO September, gathering 1,500 worldwide and trend-setter brands in the City of Gold, from September 23rd to 27th 2017.
"Green Jewellery" is the main theme of VICENZAORO September 2017, the new edition of the leading global jewelry exhibition organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG, born from the merger between Rimini Fiera and Fiera di Vicenza) on Saturday 23rd September. The show wiil present an incredibly rich and diverse calendar of events with a special focus on the corporate responsibility and the sourcing policies of all the materials employed in the sector. On this topic, CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation and IEG will organize a conference, on Sunday September 24th, 2017, focused on the impact of the new EU Mineral Conflicts legislation on the jewellery industry and on the strategies to be implemented to answer effectively to any new requirements.

IEG thus renews its commitment to stand up for significant issues in support of traceability, ethical trade, environmental protection, safeguard of the right-duty to work and of the health and safety in the jewellery chain. A global, unprecedented platform for the International jewelry community: this is VICENZAORO September 2017, with 1,500 brands of exhibiting firms coming from 36 countries all over the world and from the main Italian goldsmith areas, as well as visitors, buyers, journalists, opinion leaders and trendsetters of the foreign key markets.

Thanks to the support of ICE (the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade), VICENZAORO will host 500 choice buyers coming from the main reference markets as well as a delegation of 150 Italian retailers by Federpreziosi and over 800 top European and International buyers. VICENZAORO September 2017 presents for the second consecutive year the well-established and successful exhibition format, VICENZAORO The Boutique Show, which divides the entire product offer in 6 areas which may be identified for their shared values and market positioning (Icon, Look, Creation, Expression, Essence, Evolution). The Icon area will also feature N.O.W. Not Ordinary Watches, the capsule of Pavilion 7 devoted to 12 brands selected in the world of the Independent Watches will be on show again at VICENZAORO September 2017.

But there's so much more to VICENZAORO September 2017: from the area S.E.T Small Equipment & Tools located at Pavilion 2.2 and dedicated to technology and innovation, to the brand-new VO Square, an area inside the Tradeshow that will become a pre-eminent space for conferences, talks and meetings with international experts and opinion leaders.

Trends will be the protagonists during the Show with TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting, the independent forecasting observatory of the goldsmith and jewellery world, which will launch the exclusive new TRENDBOOK 2019+. Young people and creativity in the goldsmith’s world will be the core of the prize-giving ceremony of the winners among the 22 finalists of the Next Jeneration Jewellery Talent Contest International Competition, an initiative that is now at its sixth edition and promoted by IEG in collaboration with the School of Design of the Politecnico di Milano, that launched in 2017 the theme “Gioiello e Funzione”.
