Tennis is undergoing a period of significant change, driven by the rise of a new generation of champions dominating the major tournaments. However, something is also happening in the world of jewelry regarding one of its cult pieces: the tennis bracelet, which two independent international jewelry brands have decided to completely overhaul. During the 2026 US Open, New York-based Bijules and Dubai-based Kamyen unveiled Bijules × Kamyen, a project centered on the Topspin Tennis Series, a line featuring a striking blend of artisanal craftsmanship and sports-inspired elements. The collection stands out for its hand-painted enamel “swing” motifs, available in four different colors, fancy diamonds set in gold Katori baskets, and an exclusive tennis-racket-inspired clasp finished with a carved pearl pendant. Three models feature fancy light yellow diamonds paired with green, blue or white enamel, while a fourth version combines wheat-colored diamonds and white enamel set in rose gold. The necklaces also reinterpret the traditional rivière design in the same color combinations. The collaboration aims to create a meeting point between high jewelry, sport and contemporary culture, taking the tennis bracelet into a new chapter by transforming it into a more contemporary object. An idea that continues the work of Jules Kim, who founded Bijules in 2002 and is known for her innovative approach to contemporary jewelry, with a fan base that includes artists such as Cardi B and Beyoncé. Alongside her is Kamyen, a Dubai-based family-run company with a three-generation legacy in the diamond trade, whose distinctive style has made it one of the most highly regarded high jewelry brands on MyTheresa.
