Dior Joaillerie Launches Its First Podcast

Today, November 13, Dior Joaillerie launches its first podcasts Dior Talks, that the Parisian maison dedicates to its universe of haute joaillerie, under the aegis of the artistic director Victoire de Castellane

Five episodes starting today, November 13, dedicated to the world of jewelry of the Dior maison. After a foray into that of perfumes and the feminist artistic movement, revived in a glamorous key by fashion creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, now the story moves to the universe of jewelry. Thanks to the interventions of art historians, philosophers, ethnologists, the various stages of the history of jewelry will be retraced, from antiquity to the present day, with a focus on the themes dear to the artistic director of Dior Joaillerie Victoire de Castellane, who was responsible for the launch of the first high jewelry collection in 1999. History of jewelry, therefore, its high symbolic value, and insights related to Dior's most iconic themes such as the flower. Among the "narrative" voices: Olivier Saillard, fashion historian; Donatien Grau, art critic; Georges Vigarello, historian; Patrizia Ciambelli, ethnologist; Vannina Micheli, psychoanalyst. The five podcasts will be launched on Spotify and podcasts.dior.com.
