We step inside the photographic project by Alberto Carlo Macchi for the April issue of VO+ Magazine, titled “Objects of Desire from the Depths.” Conceived to immortalize the beauty of the most sought-after gemstones of the moment, the editorial explores their expressive intensity through the camera lens. For Kahn High Jewellery, the spotlight falls on a white gold necklace and a pair of earrings: creations where the ethereal brilliance of diamonds forms a measured counterpoint to the unmistakable electric hues of Paraíba tourmaline.The set was conceived to amplify the neon vibrations that have turned Paraíba into a phenomenon of its own, aiming for an image capable of translating desire and rarity into visual form. The result is a narrative that places Kahn’s creative vision in dialogue with the gem’s almost otherworldly luminosity, a presence emerging from the depths of the earth, pulsing with an energy that feels immediate and impossible to replicate.
