After Milan, Portofino and Genoa, the city where the Gismondi 1754 company started doing business a good seven generations ago, stores have now been opened in St. Moritz and Prague. Extending the horizons of Massimo Gismondi is yet more great news: the agreement with Alfardan Group, one of the most important luxury players in Qatar. A first strategic step towards entering into a new market, proving the ever-increasing attention to Italian style, which collections by the historical Genoese brand well represent. Fine examples are Essenza, Prato Fiorito, Cascata and DolceVita, which, together with one-of-a-kind creations, were selected to be placed on display at the DJWE Doha Jewelry Watches Exhibition, the sector’s number one trade show in Qatar, held on 29th February 2020.
The engagement with Alfardan in Qatar provides the introduction of Gismondi 1754 in the local markets in GCC and is expected to extend to their entire commercial network of the Alfardan Group. Leaders in the market since its establishment 1952, founder Ibrahim Alfardan, a major pearl dealer in Qatar was also appointed a supplier of jewelry for the Royal House before establishing a multi-national commercial network for luxury watches and high jewelry.
“This agreement of absolute prestige. This represents a further step in our expansion strategy. The high level of creativity and quality of our jewels and the great influence of Alfardan Jewelry in Qatar will allow us to start our presence in the Gulf area, with the concrete prospects of expanding our collaboration with an end goal of extensive growth of the wholesale sector throughout the entire GCC and other new markets". says Massimo Gismondi, CEO Gismondi1754.
