Gismondi 1754 Focuses on Italy

Tomorrow will see the official opening of the sales point in Brian&Barry, in the heart of Milan. An action that strengthens the brand’s retail expansion policy in Italy.

«For Gismondi 1754, Brian&Barry represents an important point in the heart of Milan both for the brand’s positioning and for boosting its presence in the city,» says Massimo Gismondi, CEO of the historical Genoese company, speaking of the official opening of the brand’s corner in the luxury department store in piazza San Babila. And he adds, «Our priority is to open in Italy because we are Italian and this is where we want to strengthen our presence. Over the next three years, we aim to have 50 or 60 dealers covering the entire national territory, from north to south. An operation that we had planned for next year but that we have purposefully brought forward to 2020, seeing the positive performances registered during the lockdown. Moreover, we also want to intensify our distribution and partnerships in Europe where, at the moment, we have sealed agreements with dealers in Bucharest and Zurich thanks to Vicenzaoro January 2020, and in the Middle East. In Qatar, we have reached an agreement with Al Fardan, which has several high-range locations in the area where Italian styles, manufacture and design are in high demand. We are, of course, also present in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, but the cultural approach towards Italian products is not as strong as in nearby Qatar. In general, consolidating the Gismondi 1754 brand is one of our main priorities and opening a second location in Milan, which joins the one in the historical Hotel Baglioni in via Senato, demonstrates our willingness to increasingly focus on our own territory.» At Brian&Barry, Gismondi 1754 will be displaying its most representative collections such as Dedalo, Aura, Prato Fiorito and Noi, while the one-of-a-kind items can be found in the boutique in Hotel Baglioni. «We pay great attention to being present in prestigious and strategic locations in order to extend our range of action and Milan, despite this unforeseen moment, has always been one of the most coveted cities for tourists with high-spending power,» Massimo Gismondi concludes.
