High Jewelry: Innovations for the Décolleté

Four unique pieces from the high jewelry collections by Gucci, Cartier, Louis Vuitton and Bulgari: savoir faire and tradition, technology and experimentation merge in an ensemble of technique and poetical creativity

Inspired by the magnificent beauty of nature, this necklace is part of the 130 creations in Hortus Deliciarum, “Garden of Earthly Delights”, Gucci. A unique piece in white gold that boasts diamonds and green and pink Paraiba tourmalines: the stones are arranged in harmonious architecture to celebrate the frail and melancholy charm of a rose garden, a symbol of rebirth and love. High jewelry 2021 “Hortus Deliciarum” collection.

Fighting spirit becomes texture in the Pixelage necklace, a tribute to the panther, Cartier’s iconic symbol. The feline’s stylized coat featured in the geometric outline, is obtained by a daring composition of polished onyx stones, white, yellow and orange diamonds and three eye-catching gold topazes totaling 27.34 carats of gems. High jewelry 2021, Sixième Sens par Cartier collection.

Inspired by the arrow, the Arrow necklace is a tribute to travel, a theme Louis Vuitton holds dear and also a literal interpretation of the iconic V, recreated in the center of the item with rubies, sapphires and diamonds. A 2.61 carat diamond and a sumptuous, 26 carat sapphire from Sri Lanka in a perfect royal blue, hang from the tip. High jewelry 2021, “Bravery” collection.

The Sapphire Petal necklace has been skillfully designed by Bulgari artisans to adorn the neck as if it were a flower with large petals, embellished with diamonds and cabochon sapphires. It flaunts a large, 35.45 carat cornflower blue sapphire at the center, a tribute to one of Nicola Bulgari’s favorite stones. High jewelry 2021, “Magnifica” collection.
