While the love between musical artists and jewelry has distant roots with the first examples of collaboration dating back to the 1970s, we are now witnessing an evolution that is contaminating all musical genres. On the one hand, we see phenomena like Johnny Dheng, a Texan jeweler who has built an empire on made-to-measure for the American music community; on the other, real partnerships are uniting talents with global jewelry brands. And while the collaboration between Jisoo, singer in the Korean band Blackpink, is limited to the Adv side, that between Bulova and Marc Anthony enters into the design side through the creation of a series of watch and jewelry collections. «I love and will always love music, but for many years now, I have also been immersed in the world of design, painting and the arts in general. The opportunity to work with a historic and innovative brand like Bulova allows me to fulfil my dream of creating watches, since I admire the beauty and craftsmanship of a timepiece,» explained Marc Anthony. «I am enjoying the whole experience, from my first sketches to the final product, and I am really excited about creating distinctive pieces that are truly meaningful to me.
