Kitsch Kiosk Glass Studio: Transforming Glass into Art and Individuality
With a mission to explore the limits of glass, the studio merges traditional techniques with contemporary ideas to create unique pieces that embody freedom and self-expression
Experimenting with the physical limits of glass to create innovative and original designs is the fundamental principle of Kitsch Kiosk Glass Studio, a project founded in 2022 by Lisa Nagel and Jonas Kammers, a design duo who, by combining traditional techniques with contemporary ideas, aim to create jewelry that celebrates individuality and freedom. Glass, with its formula of solid and liquid properties, has a unique aesthetic in which light refracts in a peculiar way, creating magical effects. Made and sculpted by hand in their studio in Hamburg, Germany, through flame-working, glass-blowing and smoking, the creations invite to explore the beauty and complexity of a dynamic material that always promises surprising combinations.
