Sicily to Vicenzaoro
Fifteen entrepreneurial entities, examples of excellence handed down by Sicilian master goldsmiths and silversmiths. At Vicenzaoro, Hall 7 and 1
Sicily, a land where the culture and tradition of beauty and “well done” have been cultivated for centuries, expressed through the art of master goldsmiths and silversmiths, who hand down the secrets of an ancient craft from generation to generation. It is worth getting to know some of the more than sixty regional companies operating in areas of high entrepreneurial density with integrated specialization systems, that are able to express technological innovation skills, models of an unmistakable style. Sixteen companies, including small artisan workshops and large businesses, each in their own way promote the Made in Sicily brand and the centuries-old know-how that permeates every detail at the workbench during that magical creative process. These artisans generate unique pieces and capsule collections for export, conveying the idea of a Sicily that creates, produces and innovates. A young Sicily that knows how to turn the island’s “marginality” into a strong point. To learn about the “little ancient world” of Sicilian master goldsmiths and silversmiths, who never miss an opportunity to amaze with contemporary reinterpretations, here in Vicenzaoro (Hall 7 and 1) there are 15 “models” of Sicilian style, each one an interpreter of this new golden age that takes the pride of the Made in Sicily brand out into the world.
