Through her lens, photographer Ana Marti explores taste and its relationship with fine jewelry, creating a connection between sensory experience and aesthetic representation. Perceptions of bitter, sweet, sour, and salty are translated into images that evoke tactile and emotional sensations, as well as visual ones. Jewelry transcends its ornamental dimension and becomes an experience, a stimulus, a sensory memory, inviting the observer to a more intimate and synesthetic reading of the precious object.
