The Interactive Jewelry of Shavarsh Hakobian
Sculptural and interactive, the creations of Armenian artist Shavarsh Hakobian captivate with their bold expressiveness, born from technical experimentation and visionary creativity
Untamed creativity and a strong passion for experimentation guide the hand of Shavarsh Hakobian, an artist based in Yerevan, Armenia, who creates jewelry with interactive sculptural forms. Shavarsh draws inspiration from the world around him: everyday objects, architecture, music are translated into sketches and wax engravings. Clever shapes and details then come to life through the use of unconventional materials such as wood, leather, organza, thread and butterfly wings, always combined with precious metals and stones. The jewelry is designed to interact with the wearer: an invitation to find a personal meaning that links the design to an individual experience.
COSMIC TRIANGLE RING
The designer has chosen the shape of a triangle for a conceptual creation. A thread joins two corners and creates a “stem”, thus defining the size of the ring. Threads Collection.

UNTITLED RING
With a shape that reinterprets a butterfly with closed wings, this piece was conceived as a wearable sculpture, characterized by intricate detailing and architectural precision. Butterfly Collection.
ANGELIKA RING
In white and yellow gold, pearls and diamonds, a jewel designed with playful and dynamic elements that move gracefully, inviting lively interaction with the wearer.
