The cape reimagined by Burberry
A major exhibition celebrates an iconic fashion item: the cape
The beautiful capes by Burberry, just introduced in its new collection that was shown at LFW, were inspired by Henry Moore, one of Britain’s greatest sculptors, and the British luxury fashion brand decided to celebrate it with a major exhibition - ‘Henry Moore: Inspiration & Process’. Running at the Makers House until the 27th February 2017, the exposition will give the opportunity to explore the methods and evolution of the artist' sculptural ideas, presenting 78 individual couture capes, inspired by the scale and form of Henry Moore's elemental sculptures and created using unique constructions - handmade and available to special order.
