Focus on Mulberry accessories for Summer 2017

 

From the shoes to the bags, the new Mulberry Summer 2017 collection was all about special decorations and contrasts, showing a different take on Britishness. Creative Director Johnny Coca compared and contrasted different notions from the British Heritage getting its most modern side. Outfits and accessories featured ruffle details sliced free, displaced, and animated to give formerly utilitarian classics a modern, poetic twist. The signature stripes, characteristic of British education and Oxbridge colleges, were printed across fluid silk twills and crisp knits, in old-school, collegiate scarf colours. And the jewels became part of bags and shoes embroidered with delicate paisley motifs or punk hardware.
