Missoni new exhibition in London
The creative process of Italian fashion house Missoni and the textiles of Ottavio and Rosita Missoni in a special exhibition
Missoni Art Colour, is the new exhibition hosted at the Fashion and Textile Museum in Bermondsey, which celebrates Missoni's signature equation of fashion, art and colour, looking at how 20th century European art influenced Missoni founders Ottavio and Rosita Missoni. From May 6 to September 4, guests will have the chance to view the personal art work of Missoni mixed with more than 40 paintings by artists including Lucio Fontana and Sonia Delaunay, many of which have never been shown in the UK before. Organised by the MA*GA Art Museum in collaboration with Missoni, the exhibition evokes the family firm that has become an international success by combining craft expertise, materials and the latest design trends.
