The new Couture by Dior
Christian Dior shows in Paris its latest Haute Couture collection.
During the Paris Haute Couture week all eyes were on the house of Christian Dior. The French Maison showed the new Fall Winter 2016-17 collection within the legendary salons of 30 avenue MontaigneDesigners. Celebrating Dior heritage, the show signs a return to the roots and basics of the house. The collection is all about black and white, to symbolize the masculine/feminine and to express a new contemporary elegance. Beautiful and precious necklaces are the only jewels decorating the asymmetric and plated evening dresses and skirts. Ornaments are made with gold and rich embroidery inspired by the works of Claude Lalann, or César. There's a new trend coming out: the gold barrette used to hold the long hair of the models.
