GemGenève is back

From 2 to 5 November, It will welcome a selected number of international jewelery brands and entities to the Palaexpo in Geneva

From 2 to 5 November, the Geneva Palaexpo will host the seventh edition of GemGenève, the jewelery event which has the fundamental principle of its Manifesto in the statement "the event organized by exhibitors for exhibitors". Manifesto wanted by Ronny Totah and Thomas Faeber, founders of the Geneva show, which is completed with the following statements: "we connect the past, the present and the future", "we are driven by passion" and "we are all insiders". Already from these few lines we understand the spirit of an event which from 2018 to today has increased not only the exhibition part - which includes entities focused on colored gems, diamonds, contemporary jewelery designers and even some prestigious antique dealers - but also the cultural one , with moments of meeting with industry experts who from time to time brought attention to mainstream topics or revealed to the public of enthusiasts some interesting aspects of a still little-known profession. Among the now fixed appointments are the Touch & Feel workshops and the Learn & Discover talks, coordinated like the entire program and above all strongly desired by Mathieu Dekeukelaire, director of GemGenève.

One of the flagships of the event will be the presence of Strong & Precious Art Foundation, guest at the Palaexpo for the fourth time and which for this edition will present Ukrainian jewelery brands and designers. These are the six brands selected by Olga Oleksenko, CEO of the Foundation: Nomis, Drutis Jewelery, Yuval' Studios, Inesa Kovalova, Zhernov Artifactory and two new entries, GeO and Yastreb Jewelry. Another key moment will be that of the Marvelous Pearls exhibition “The Peart Odyssey” curated by Violaine Bigot, Head of the Heritage of the Chaumet jewelery collection, and by Bertrand Ternat, Pearl hunter of Ocean Flame.
