Oroarezzo 2025: The Strategic Role of Made in Italy Strengthens

The 44th edition of IEG’s B2B event has just wrapped up in Arezzo, confirming its global scope and the centrality of Italian know-how in the international jewelry landscape.

Oroarezzo 2025 confirmed its strength and increasingly international scope, welcoming visitors from 100 countries and recording a 9% increase in foreign attendance compared to last year. In a period marked by trade uncertainties—especially with the United States, Italy’s second largest export market for gold and jewelry and the third for the Arezzo district—Oroarezzo once again proved to be a strategic business platform for Made in Italy, with 84% of exhibitors coming from Italy. IEG's strategy, in synergy with the Italian Trade Agency and key industry associations, focused both on expanding international relations and on promoting manufacturing and technological innovation that combines design, creativity, and smart use of precious metals.

Europe accounted for 40% of total attendance, followed by the Middle East (15%), North and South America (17%), Africa (11%), and the Far East (7%). Among the most represented countries: South Korea, Singapore and Japan for the Far East; Poland, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Lithuania and Georgia for Europe; the USA and a rising Mexico for North America; Argentina in South America; and Nigeria, Ghana and Congo in Africa. Around 400 hosted buyers were present thanks to the collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, coming from 60 different countries.

Oroarezzo also featured eleven events offering market insights and economic analysis, with contributions from Intesa Sanpaolo for Club degli Orafi, Confartigianato, AFEMO, and Leather & Luxury. One of the highlights was an evening at the Teatro Petrarca dedicated to opera, organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Arezzo, the Guido d’Arezzo Foundation and Federorafi Confindustria, which welcomed international guests with a performance of Gianni Schicchi by Puccini. Creativity also took center stage with Première, the jewelry contest curated by art director Beppe Angiolini, featuring 58 participating Italian companies.

IEG now looks ahead to the 5th Italian Jewelry Summit, scheduled for December 2025 in Arezzo. Before that, the Jewelry Agenda continues with SIJE in Singapore (July 10–13), the debut of The Vicenza Symposium (September 2–4), and Vicenzaoro September (September 5–9).
