The 34th edition of Première, the flagship contest of Oroarezzo organized by Italian Exhibition Group, concluded with the official announcement of this year’s winners. The theme, “Jewelry as a Mirror of Time,” conceived by art director Beppe Angiolini, was interpreted by 58 Made in Italy companies, whose creations were displayed in the large central showcase at the entrance of Arezzo Fiere e Congressi.
Eight categories were evaluated by an international jury composed of industry experts, journalists and opinion leaders. The award ceremony was hosted by Silvia Grilli, editor-in-chief of Grazia and special guest member of the jury.
A spotlight was also placed on emerging talent. In the Talents category, the winner was Marianna Maddaluna, a student from the G. Giovagnoli Institu te in Sansepolcro. Her sketch will be turned into a real jewel in collaboration with an Arezzo-based company and will be unveiled at the upcoming Italian Jewelry Summit.
