Oroarezzo, a Jewelry and Tech Business Platform

Italian Exhibition Group closed yesterday its Arezzo event focused on relaunching the jewelry manufacturing industry

After four days, Oroarezzo 2022, the IEG - Italian Exhibition Group event that brought the best of goldsmithing from the main Italian and international gold districts back to Arezzo Fiere e Congressi, closed today. A business showcase for more than 300 exhibiting jewelry and technology brands, the fair was attended by 200 guest buyers from 50 countries.

AN EDITION FOR RESTART AND SYNERGY
The 41st edition of Oroarezzo was steeped in a widespread feeling of confidence in the road to restart, thanks to the decisive system synergy that was generated among the protagonists.
A dynamic formula between exhibition and networking that focused on the concept of “The Art of Manufacturing” which, despite a full calendar of international events, attracted buyers from key foreign markets as well as the attention of new buyers from emerging markets, interested in a format devoted to manufacturing and tech.
The absolute collaboration, both at the fair and in the city, of the main partner institutions and associations, including MAECI, ITA, Consulta Orafa Aretina, Confindustria Federorafi, Confartigianato, CNA, AFEMO, Assocoral and Federpreziosi, outlined a shared perspective in the name of cohesion and a common trajectory towards sustainable innovation.
Moreover, with the 31st edition of the Première competition, Oroarezzo turned the spotlight onto new developments, design and manufacturing trends, launching a message of unity and peace

OPENING UP TO NEW MARKETS
The presence in Arezzo of buyers from the Middle East and Europe (particularly Eastern Europe), confirmed the show’s international vocation and positioning in key target markets. However, it also saw openings towards the Americas and South East Asia - with arrivals from Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam – as well as towards emerging markets such as North Africa, with buyers arriving in the city in the wake of IEG's scouting activity with the precise objective of generating new business prospects for companies.
Furthermore, the Cash&Carry offer registered the attendance of Italian retailers in view of seasonal restocking.
“Jewellery Golden Cloud”, IEG's digital platform at the service of business matching between supply and demand, also played a central role in the overall show experience.

SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION AS THE MAINSTAY
The workshop organised by Federorafi together with Arezzo’s Consulta Provinciale dei Produttori Orafi e Argentieri (Provincial Council of Goldsmith and Silversmith Producers), saw a cohesive sector desirous of laying the foundations for the future development - technical, supply chain and brand - of the jewellery industry. The speakers included Bulgari Gioielli and Unoaerre Industries

The next appointment with Oroarezzo will be in May 2023.
