Oroarezzo is Back with the Première Competition Dedicated to Bracelets

The countdown has begun for Oroarezzo, the IEG - Italian Exhibition Group event specifically for Made in Italy and international jewelry, back in its physical form from 7th - 10th May

 Now at its 41st edition, Oroarezzo will be back in the halls of Arezzo Fiere e Congressi from 7th to 10th May 2022, hosting over 300 exhibiting brands including Unoaerre, Giordini, Gold Art, Graziella Group, Richline and Lusso, all from the Arezzo district. Important attendance will also come from the Vicenza district with Chrysos, Rancangelo, Alessi Domenico, Superoro, Ronco and Sharma Group World, from the Naples district with Roberto Giannotti and from the Milanese capital with Milor. Four exhibition halls will be devoted to jewelry manufacturing, tech and Cash&Carry, consolidating Oroarezzo's position in the IEG Jewelry Agenda. A four-day event to bring together the production excellence of all the Italian and international gold districts specialized in processing metals and precious elements, in their highest expression of gold manufacturing, and to host international buyers arriving mainly from the USA, Middle East and South America.

The exhibition layout will also consolidate the Oroarezzo format, summarized by the payoff “The Art of Manufacturing” with an exhibition itinerary that will develop through the four halls dedicated to goldsmithing, jewelry, silverware, semi-finished products and stones, with jewelry accounting for almost 70% of the offer, 15% of which will be international; tech with the latest technological processing systems covering 18%, and cash & carry, offering companies the opportunity to sell ready-made products, occupying 12%. Always with a "buyer oriented" vision, the offer comprises companies that express quality, research and innovation in a significant segment of the goldsmith supply chain, from technology to jewelry.

The event, held in the heart of Arezzo's gold district, which recorded a +23.5% growth compared to the pre-crisis level in 2019 (2022 Tuscan District Monitor drafted by Intesa Sanpaolo’s Studies and Research Department), is aimed at the main outlet countries for made in Italy jewelry: North America, the Middle East, South America, as well as Italian retailers. The digital platform, Jewellery Golden Cloud, set up by Italian Exhibition Group and enhanced by an artificial intelligence system that facilitates targeted matching during the days of the exhibition through detailed profiling of connected users, will also be up and running for the occasion. Exhibitors and buyers have already started online interactions to define and optimize their business meeting agenda during the event.

Oroarezzo will also provide the chance to benefit from technical training and sector updating to support production process development with content focusing on two links in the goldsmith supply chain: technology and jewelry. Also important for professional networking is the involvement of the city of Arezzo, which will welcome operators and buyers with a series of off-show cultural events and initiatives.

The Première competition for the best Italian goldsmith manufacturing, now at its 31st edition, will also be back. This year it has already launched the challenge on bracelets as the object of desire 2022. The jewelry entries will be assessed by a jury of industry, fashion and communication experts chaired by Beppe Angiolini, Art Director of Oroarezzo and Honorary President of the National Chamber of Fashion Buyers, who will announce the winning item on Sunday 8th May. The bracelet was chosen for its ability to illuminate the wearer’s movements and enhance their personality. An ancient item that has managed to survive the centuries, it is profoundly linked to the history of mankind, thanks to its circular shape that naturally recalls the circle of life and the concept of eternal return that never ceases to amaze. The bracelet as a symbol of infinity and unbreakable bonds also recalls the message of peace and universal unity without political, cultural, geographical or religious boundaries, for which the 2022 edition of Oroarezzo has made itself the mouthpiece. A modern character and luminous power are the only requirements that the competing creations must express. The new edition of the Première competition will welcome bracelets of all types without setting limits to creativity: design, shapes, workmanship and size will be able to reflect the style and inspiration of each company. Fine or bulky, irregular, rigid, multiple or single, and with stones of any color, the bracelets in the competition will represent maximum freedom in the creation and manufacturing of jewelry.
