On May 12 in Geneva, Phillips will celebrate the excellence of jewelry with an auction that brings together history, design, and exceptional craftsmanship
Phillips has announced the highlights of the Geneva Jewels Auction: IV, taking place on May 12, 2025, at the Hotel President Wilson, featuring a curated selection of jewelry that combines rarity, artistry, and prestige. Leading the auction is a 53.14-carat Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond pendant, Internally Flawless, a specimen of extraordinary color intensity. It is followed by a pair of diamond earrings weighing 10.92 and 10.58 carats, both D Colour, Flawless, Type IIa, with excellent cut and symmetry. Among the most anticipated lots is also a 1.85-carat Fancy Vivid Orangy Pink diamond ring, VS2 Clarity, and a selection of exceptional colored stones, including a 7.10-carat Kashmir sapphire signed Van Cleef & Arpels, two no-heat Burmese rubies weighing 7.37 and 10.59 carats, and a 122.77-carat unmounted Paraiba tourmaline from Mozambique. The offering also includes two significant sapphires: a 13.24-carat Burmese signed by Graff and a 20.11-carat Ceylon.
Among the featured maisons, in addition to Van Cleef & Arpels and Graff, are Bulgari—showcased through an iconic 1950s 'Serpenti' watch—Cartier, Buccellati, and Chaumet. In celebration of the centenary of the 1925 Paris Exposition, the house is also presenting a curated section of Art Deco jewelry, including a circa 1910 Cartier brooch created by Henri Picq’s atelier, a 1920s Janesich brooch in crystal and diamonds, and a pair of 1934 Chaumet earrings, originally part of a French noble family’s corbeille de mariage. Also included are privately sourced pieces from the 1950s and 1960s, such as a gold and diamond minaudière by Van Cleef & Arpels and a necklace set with rubies, emeralds, and diamonds.
The preview tour of the lots will travel through Hong Kong, New York, Singapore.
