The Seventy Years of Elegance, Innovation, and Tradition of Milor

Milor celebrates its 70th anniversary, a journey blending tradition, passion, and creative boldness, with a focus on the future and the constant evolution of the jewelry craft

Seventy years. The time of generational handovers, each leaving a mark. The time that Milor, founded in Milan in 1955 under the leadership of the Mouhadab family, has taken to build a unique story, step by step, in the jewelry industry.

A significant anniversary, especially for a company that has managed to remain faithful to its roots without ever ceasing to reinvent itself. The city of Milan, a symbol of elegance and innovation, and gold, that emblem of value and durability, are referred to in Milor’s very name—chosen to sanction a bond that seems to have been written in destiny.

Milor’s workshop is a powerhouse of ideas and innovation, a place in which to experiment with new and exclusive materials and procedures, thus contributing to creating a perfect and globally appreciated end product. The secret of such success lies in the clean lines of a discreet design, in the craftsmanship that can be felt at the touch, in the way each piece seems to belong to the woman wearing it, as if it had been created especially for her.

Milor is the fruit of decades of research, of studying new techniques, and attention to people’s real needs—the right balance between technological innovation (3D design, advanced prototyping) and the skill of the goldsmith, who only stops when every detail is perfect.

Seventy years, then, are not only an occasion to celebrate what has been, but also a premise for what is to come. In the name of continuous evolution, Milor is now proud to announce its collaboration with nationally renowned designer and Made in Italy enthusiast, David Markstein. The company is starting a new chapter with a choice that combines audacity and vision.

With over 30 years of experience and a genuine passion for Italian craftsmanship, Markstein deeply understands what it means to turn an idea into a precious object. His admiration for tradition is never nostalgic. The desire to innovate, to take what is classic and propel it towards something unexpected, is in his nature.

One only has to look at his most famous creations: the Rolo Rivisitato bracelet, which plays with shiny and textured surfaces; the Cross with Tree of Life, a symbol of spirituality and rebirth; Tubogas, which wraps around the wrist with hypnotic fluidity; and the Status bracelet, with its rectangular gems impeccably alternating with carved stones and gold links—a veritable technical challenge. Items that tell stories, that remind us how extraordinary it is to be able to hold something in our hands that is ancient, modern, simple, and complex all at the same time. So, in celebrating its 70th anniversary, Milor is looking ahead with the same curiosity and courage that have guided it thus far. The story continues, fueled by the desire to create, surprise, and leave a mark.
