The Success of the Istanbul Jewelry Show: Record Number of Visitors


From Turkey, Iran, the United Arab Emirates: they came from 147 countries, setting a record with 36,500 visitors at the Istanbul Jewelry Show, 16% more than the previous edition of 2019. The days from 24 to 27 March 2022 were in fact a success for the fair organized by Informa Markets which boasts IGI as its main sponsor.

These four days managed to bring together the players of the global jewelry industry at the Istanbul Expo Center thanks to products and services developed specifically for the exhibition by 1250 companies and brands from 15 countries that were offered to professionals in the sector.

The fair also saw the "International Buyer Delegation Program" organized with the aim of increasing jewelry exports and finding new markets.

As part of the program, over 1000 representatives of leading companies and brands in the jewelery sector were hosted as buyers at the fair.

The orders and above all the new commercial agreements made during the period of the exhibition gave in fact new impetus mainly to the exports of Turkish jewels and also to the world trade in jewels.

«It is an honor for us that the Istanbul Jewelry Show, which we have been organizing since 1986, has reached the largest number of visitors at this 51st Exhibition,» said Şermin Cengiz, UBM Rotaforte Founding Partner. «Growing parallel to the growth of the sector, our exhibition has been ranked among the top five jewelry exhibitions of the world. We believe that it will continue to be a preferred event for the global jewelry industry and mainly for Turkey. Making new business deals, getting new orders and meeting new professionals of the sector in order to enter new markets is only possible at the exhibitions.»
